Community Data Dashboard

75 North serves the Highlander neighborhood of Omaha, NE

Seventy-Five North is dedicated to working alongside neighbors, other community partners, and with Purpose Built Communities to create a thriving Highlander community. We are proud to be a member of the Purpose Built Communities Network, a national coalition of neighborhoods who work to ensure that every neighborhood can become a pathway to prosperity for the people who live there using the Purpose Built Communities Model. Using this model, our work focuses on providing high-quality, mixed-income housing; a comprehensive cradle-to-career educational pipeline; community wellness and health; and financial opportunities for residents.

The data provided in this dashboard highlights key indicators of housing stability, community well-being, and economic vitality for the Highlander neighborhood compared to the same data for Omaha and aligned to the theory of change for the Purpose Built Communities Model. Acknowledging the initial outcomes of our revitalization efforts coincided with the disruption caused by the COVID pandemic, we have now identified metrics to track in order to measure the impact of our efforts in the Highlander neighborhood. Where possible, we use the most localized data available in hopes to provide an accurate picture of trends in the Highlander and surrounding community. However, some of the data draws from public sources, i.e. the U.S. Census Bureau and local reports that may extend beyond the surrounding community.

Creating pathways to prosperity is complex work that takes decades. The data displayed below represents both baseline of short-term outcomes and a commitment – to greater intentionality, transparency, and continuous improvement as we strive for long-term community vitality and sustainability. These metrics help us track progress, identify needs, and measure the ongoing impact of revitalization efforts thus far and over time.

Highlander has welcomed 310 new mixed-income rental homes and 21 single-family homes for affordable buyers since 2018.
