Southeast Raleigh Promise serves as the Community Quarterback organization within the Purpose Built Communities network. We are the 16th of 25+ organizations within national networking leading this place-based model. In our role, we partner with key stakeholders and residents to implement our community's shared vision for the Rock Quarry Road Corridor. We believe that every neighborhood can become a pathway to prosperity for its residents — leading to increased upward mobility and improved health and wellness.

The indicators are aligned with the Purpose Built Communities theory of change and serve as one source of information to help us understand community conditions and inform our work within our area of impact, which has experienced decades of disinvestment and marginalization.

We look at multiple measures to understand housing stability, which tells us that a neighborhood is somewhere that people feel invested in. Stable housing is also foundational for health, education, and economic prosperity. Information here is from the American Community Survey 5-year estimate and our local school district.
